Golden Time is something that Lainesmead Primary School do every Friday.

Golden Time is lots of fun because there are lots of activities to choose from like playing Twister, art, playing with Lego, going on the laptops, reading in the book corner and playing with the playdough. In class 11 we have a golden time box with dollies and board games in. We also have a box of clay. One of my friend's best subjects at school is golden time. I usually do lots of art work and make cards for my family and friends.

One of my friends named Chloe plays with me lots. She is a good friend to me because she helps me during Literacy. Chloe's favourite subject is Maths and she works amazingly well.

At Lainesmead when Key Stage Two have their lunch break, Mr Strange, Miss Green and Miss Burfoot look after us in the playground.

Our Head Teacher Mrs Turner does a special assembly on Mondays when children are awarded certificates for good behaviour and work.

One Tuesday I got sent to see the Head Teacher because I answered some very difficult questions in Literacy. When children get sent to the Head Teacher with their work they get a shooting star. Shooting stars are collected for your class and my class have four.

At the end of the month, in an assembly, the class which has the most stars wins and gets to do fun activities!
