SWINDON police are appealing for witnesses following an attack on a man in Fleming Way.
At about 1.30pm on Friday, February 3, a 42-year-old man was walking along Fleming Way, into the pedestrian access leading to the undercover car park in John Street.
As he walked along he was pushed and threatened by a man who demanded money.
The victim, who has a disability, was walking with a stick, which he used to hit his attacker who ran off empty handed.
The assailant is described as white, about 5ft 6ins tall, aged between 17 and 18.
He was skinny and was wearing a black hooded top.
Police would now like to speak to any witnesses or anyone with information.
