POLICE say nobody has contacted them about an incident on a bus in which a man allegedly touched a child and took her photo with his mobile phone.
It took place on a number 21 bus travelling through Old Walcot at 2pm on Wednesday.
PC Kevin Payne said that a woman was on the bus with her daughter and her baby, who was in a pushchair, when the man touched the youngest girl.
In spite of an appeal for information the following day police are yet to hear from anyone who was on the bus.
PC Payne said that officers wanted to trace the man as soon as possible.
He was Chinese, about 5ft 4in, slim, with a drawn and pockmarked face.
He had thick, black hair in a side parting and he was wearing an old, faded brown leather jacket, faded blue jeans and clean white trainers.
Anyone with information should call PC Payne on 0845 408 7000.
