A WOMAN had to be arrested to prevent a breach of the peace in Kingsdown Road.
Officers were called out to the area at about 9pm on Monday.
A 37-year-old woman was arrested to prevent a breach of the peace.
She was released with no further action taken yesterday morning.
While in the same road, officers also stopped a car.
The 31-year-old driver was arrested and taken to Gablecross Police Station and later charged with failing to provide a breath test, no insurance and driving while disqualified.
He has been bailed to appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Thursday February 16.
