Swindon supports the world and that's official. In a survey of the world's 50 best bras, Triumph, the Groundwell company featured three times.
Not only that, but they manufacture the world's best-selling bra, Doreen, which has been around for 40 years.
In a survey in the Independent newspaper, Doreen was described as somewhat industrial but did exactly what women wanted "lifts, shapes and sturdily supports".
Triumph has been busy over the last couple of months getting ready for the Valentine's Day lingerie rush.
"Christmas 2005 didn't turn out to be a typical lingerie Christmas," said Sue Loder for the company.
"Basics sold better than the more whimsical fripperies and that was fine for Triumph, who are famous for having one of the largest collections on the market and for the bra for the way you are'.
"We can therefore respond to whatever the market requires and are pleased to report Christmas business as satisfactory in an extremely competitive market.
"It's a staggering fact that almost 500 underwear brands are available!
"Our next important date in the lingerie sales calendar is Valentine's Day and we've already got that well wrapped up."
As well as Triumph, the company deals with Sloggi, Sloggi Men, Valisere and HOM brands.
