A LOCAL hotel has given its support to the hunt for Sian O’Callaghan by offering refreshments to those searching for her.

Staff from Jurys Inn, on Fleming Way, have been in Savernake Forest to provide refreshments for those searching for clues to locate the whereabouts of the 22-year-old.

Tea, coffee and biscuits were transported from the hotel to the area in the forest where police spent yesterday searching for Sian.

Sales manager Peter Rudge said: “A lot of staff at the hotel are from Swindon and it has hit a lot of them.

“We just want to do what we can to help. We would like to take more food out there as well but health and safety prevents us, but at least we can provide some liquids.

“I’ve got children myself and you think of what the parents and the boyfriend and friends must being going through – it is awful.

“A lot of the female staff in the hotel have been affected because of the fear factor but also it could have been somebody they met on a night.

“The work that is being done in this search is fantastic and we just want to help in any way we can.”
