A DIGITAL marketing team in Swindon is attracting international attention from big names in music world.
Digital Marketing Specialists, a four-person team in the Workshed, has been running Facebook campaigns for Coldplay and globally-acclaimed South-Korean boyband BTS.
The latest deals for the young marketing company come on the back off a global digital ad campaign for the film The Drones World Tour by rock band Muse.
Founder of the company Tom Davenport, 32, told the Adver: "The Muse management compant liked so much what we did on that film have brought us to work internally on Muse, plus other artists, which includes Metallica and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
"It seems to be working, through pure word of mouth. We're just a little team of four in Swindon, which is awesome."
Tom uses marketing tools to target passive users through Facebook who might view an artists page but not actively click or like it.
"BTS is basically the biggest boy band in the world, they even sold out their UK tour.
"The film distributors for these films say they feel spoiled by what we're doing. These big impressive media buyers are not giving these digital channels the attention they could.
"What seems to work is paying attention to what Google and Facebook can actually do.
