A SPORTS therapy expert has been shortlisted for an award to be one of the top trainers in the UK.

Dawn Morse, founder of her sports therapy training company Core elements, has been shortlisted in the Tutor of the Year category by the Federation of holistic Therapists for its 2018 Excellence Awards.

Dawn, who lives in Brinkworth and runs her courses in Swindon, has a master degree in sports and health sciences and has lectured on the subject for more than 10 years as a programme leader at the University of Bath.

“This is very exciting and a huge honour. Especially as several of Core Element’s students nominated me for this award and reflects the value my courses have delivered for them,” said Dawn.

“It is also fantastic to be recognised within my industry as the FHT is the UK and Ireland’s leading professional association for therapists."

Core Elements offers training courses in sports massage, as well as a sports injury clinic and yoga classes, to help rejuvenate athletes and reduce stress levels.

The winners of the 2018 FHT Excellence Awards will be announced at an event at The King’s Fund in London.
