A FORMER RAF pilot and successful business woman will share her wisdom at the Royal International Air Tattoo this year.

The skies over RAF Fairford will be graced with impressive displays again in July.

Small businesses can go to the first Air Tattoo Business Club before the opening show on the Friday.

Jo Salter, the RAF's first female fast jet pilot - who is now a director at auditing giant Price Waterhouse Coopers - will be the key speaker.

Helen Webb, head of marketing for the Royal International Air Tattoo, said: “For 2019 we want to invite people from the very powerful and influential SME sector to the first Air Tattoo Business Club event being held on Friday July 19.

“Our show is the biggest event of its kind in Europe, on a par with Glastonbury, Ascot or Henley. Thousands of people attend however until now we’ve not reached out to that particular business sector, enabling high quality networking, access to the airshow displays and to the amazing guests who come along to share their stories.”

The event starts at 9am followed by speakers from 10-11am before the first displays take off from 11 - 3pm.
