A MOTORCYCLIST suffered potentially life-changing injuries in a serious crash in Highworth last night.
The man in his 50s, riding a white BMW bike, was involved in the crash with a black Audi on the A361 close to Crouch Farm just after 7pm.
He was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
His passenger, a woman in her 50s, was taken to Great Western Hospital by land ambulance for treatment for pelvic injuries.
The driver of the Audi was not injured.
The road was closed until around 4am this morning, to allowinvestigators to carry out their enquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the crash, or who saw either vehicle shortly beforehand, or with dash cam footage, is asked to call Wiltshire Police Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference 54210060543.
