Straight out of the box, what stood out was how compact it is. It doesn’t take over the garden, but still feels powerful enough to cook for a group.

How it performs as a BBQ

As a barbecue, it does exactly what you want.

It heats up quickly and can handle multiple burgers and sausages at once without struggling. You still get that proper BBQ char, which isn’t always guaranteed with multi-use gadgets.

The griddle was a standout for me - perfect for breakfasts like bacon, eggs and even pancakes.

Having the breakfast option makes us cook and eat outside more, in a way we normally only do on holiday.

The pizza oven test

This is where it really earns its place.

It reaches up to around 370°C, which means you actually get crispy bases - not soft, undercooked ones - and they're quick enough to cook for a crowd.

Pizzas were ready in under 10 minutes, and once it’s hot, you can keep cooking back-to-back, which is ideal if you’ve got people over.

If you’re looking at dedicated pizza ovens, brands like Ooni and Ninja are the obvious alternatives.

Clever design, as you'd expect from Lakeland

The dual-hinged lid is what makes it work.

You can open it fully for grilling or use the front door for pizza cooking to keep the heat in. It’s a simple idea, but it makes a big difference.

There’s also a built-in thermometer, which helps avoid guesswork.

How easy is it to clean?

Cleaning is less hassle than I expected.

There’s a drain system that catches grease in a removable tray, which makes a big difference after cooking things like burgers or steaks, and the heat of the pizza stone makes it super-easy for post-pizza cleaning.

Is it worth it - especially with £50 off?

If you’ve been considering upgrading your setup, it’s worth checking availability sooner rather than later before the price goes back up.
