SWINDON Saracens and Rudis shared the points in the only Swindon Sunday League fixture to survive the weather at the weekend.

Ashley Devenney and Josh Meredith netted for the hosts as part of a 3-3 draw in Division Two – Saracens moved up to second while Rudis edged up one place into 10th.

Meanwhile, in the Wiltshire County FA Sunday Cup, PSV Swindon were heavily beaten away at Bromham.

Dan Heath bagged a brace for the Swindon side, but seven goals for the hosts meant there would be no cup success for the struggling Division Two outfit.

Elsewhere, the first round of the Bunny Uzzell Shield Competition kicked off at the weekend.

Wroughton Rovers advanced thanks to a 3-2 victory away at Nationwide – the win coming despite two goals from Andrew Goodchild for the hosts.

Swindon Rovers also booked their spot in the second round of the competition following a thrilling 6-4 victory at home to fellow Division Three contenders Bakers Sunday.
