A CONCERNED David Moyes will be told there is no long-term damage to Everton-bound Lukas Jutkiewicz but the striker's injury could keep him out of Town's clash with Shrewsbury.

The 18-year-old was clattered during the second half of the televised 3-2 win at Lincoln on Saturday, and hobbled off with a severely swollen ankle.

While the rest of the first team are expected in for training today, Jutkiewicz will be having an X-ray to determine the extent of the injury - and whether Everton boss Moyes should be sweating over his investment ahead of the forward's summer switch to Merseyside.

Town physio Dick Mackey said: "I'm sure he (Moyes) might have been a little worried when it happened.

"Lukas has got a big ankle and we'll give him a precautionary X-ray.

"I don't think there is any damage to the bone but you can't be sure with a big ankle like that.

"Hopefully it's just a bit of soft tissue damage."

Mackey also had to tend to stand-in skipper Jamie Vincent and match-winner Lee Peacock in the aftermath of the successful trip to Sincil Bank.

Both could miss today's training session but are likely to be fit enough to face Shrewsbury at the County Ground on Saturday.

Mackey confirmed: "Jamie Vincent has a neck injury and has torn some muscle fibre.

"I doubt whether he'll be able to train on Tuesday but he should be okay for the next game. Lee's had three or four stitches in a leg wound but he'll be okay. There has got to be a doubt over Lukas though."

Jutkiewicz agreed a lucrative end-of-season switch to Goodison Park a fortnight ago in a deal which could ultimately see Town bank £1million.

He set up Swindon's opening goal for Christian Roberts on Sunday and combined well up front with new signing Barry Corr before limping out of the action in stoppage time.
