LAWRENCE VIGOUROUX – 9

Two outstanding saves in the first 10 minutes showed he was on his game and was unlucky not to finish with a clean sheet. Town's best player.

BRAD BARRY – 6

Burton did not attack from out wide so he was one of the quieter players but was helpful in attack and sent in a few dangerous crosses. Booked.

ADAM EL-ABD – 8

Made captain for the day and produced a performance worthy of it. Another rock solid showing shows why Town are desperate to hang onto him. Booked.

JORDAN TURNBULL – 7

Much more comfortable in his natural position in the heart of defence – until giving away the penalty. Looked so much stronger than he does when filling in out wide.

BRANDON ORMONDE-OTTEWILL – 7

Did what was necessary in defence but was more prominent as an attacking threat. A natural left foot was a useful weapon from out wide.

ANTON RODGERS – 6

The least effective of Town’s midfield quartet. Stayed deep in order to help out the defence but coughed up possession on occasion.

FABIEN ROBERT – 8

Lively again and teased the Brewers back-line with several threatening through balls. An excellent link between Town’s midfield and front two.

LOUIS THOMPSON – 7

Bundles of energy and a few bombing runs got the Brewers going backwards but Town did not get him on the ball as much as they would like. Booked.

BEN GLADWIN – 7

The Brewers seemed to shackle him better than most opposition recently and his lack of shots was noticeable.

JON OBIKA – 7

Ran himself into the ground as usual and would have had a goal had it not been for a brilliant save from the Brewers keeper.

NICKY AJOSE – 7

Kept the home side on their toes as he constantly looked for that extra yard in the box but became more isolated the longer the game went on.

SUBSTITUTES

JAMES BROPHY – 5

(For Thompson, 86) Created a chance for Obika but no real time to make an impact.

JERMAINE HYLTON – 5

(For Robert, 86) Same as above. Maybe fresh legs sooner would have been better.
