AFTER three games on the road, the Town are back home to take on Charlton Athletic.
We also have a new director of football. Welcome aboard the roller coaster Tim Sherwood. Let’s hope he has the desired effect and shakes things up a little. We certainly need a change of plan as the performances have become a bit stale, lethargic and predictable.
With Nathan Thompson out for a while, perhaps we will play a flat back four. We have looked better when we have gone four at the back. Just need to balance that with someone that can put the ball in the net on a more regular basis.
Note the kick-off time for this game. For the second time in eight days, Swindon are on the TV. It’s that old saying, you wait ages for a bus to turn up and then two come along together. Well let’s hope we can improve on our last TV appearance and get the win this time.
Let’s hope that we get the new manager, sorry, director, bounce. Three points will be a needy return from this game.
