THE injection of new faces at the County Ground has had a real positive effect.

The fans seem to be a little more upbeat. The squad certainly showed positive improvement in the performance, coming from a goal down to steal all three points from a high-flying Bolton Wanderers side last Saturday.

Hopefully the boo boys will be a little more quiet but the real test will be this Saturday against The Posh.

They were thumped 5-1 by a rejuvenated Bury site that ended their run of 20 games without a win. Peterborough will not want a repeat of that.

Swindon put in a spirited performance against Southend to earn a much-deserved point only to follow that up with a lacklustre performance against Shrewsbury.

When the Shrews were there for the taking, the lads let Shrewsbury back into the game, throwing away two valuable points.

Swindon will want to show that last week’s performance was not a one off and that they really have turned the corner.

Town have not managed back-to-back wins all season. They are in with a good change of doing so this weekend.

Come on you Reds
