SWINDON Town have this weekend to save their season.
Mind you, I did not think I would be saying that a few weeks back. We looked dead and buried, but seven points from the last nine is, overall, a very good return for the last three games.
Not only that, the squad are playing to the final whistle. The last three goals have all come in the last 10 minutes of the game, two in the dying minutes.
We need the boys to pull of that feat a couple more times over the weekend. Two games against mid-table opposition. No, two wins against teams that are already safe, that can’t reach the play-offs, yet never the less are still dangerous.
We need to be ruthless. We are playing for our League One status. Six points might be enough if other results go our way. Come Monday evening, we might, just might, be the other side of the dotted line.
Here’s hoping. Come on Swindon, you can do this.
You can post your predictions for both games on this thread.
