Adver Sport run the rule over the performances of Swindon Town's players in today's FA Cup defeat at Stevenage.

LAWRENCE VIGOUROUX – 5

Not a happy return between the sticks after shipping five goals. Not really at fault for any of them but far from his most assured display and didn’t command his box enough.

BEN PURKISS – 5

Will be disappointed after losing Tom Pett for Stevenage’s crucial third goal and it was not a good day for all of the visiting back-line.

OLLY LANCASHIRE – 4.5

When the going got tough, Swindon needed their skipper to lead by example but had a few shaky moments.

MATT PRESTON – 4.5

After a superb start to his Town career, his form has dropped off and was not the commanding presence we have grown used to.

MATT TAYLOR – 6.5

Scored a screamer direct from a corner and created Town’s other goal as his set-pieces were a real threat all afternoon. However, not his best effort defensively.

AMINE LINGANZI – 6

Got a goal to his name but was far from an influential figure in the middle of the pitch on his return from injury.

JAMES DUNNE – 4.5

Usually provides blood and thunder in the centre but simply did not get hold of midfield.

JOHN GODDARD – 5

In and out of the game and a few nice touches were offset by long spells where he went missing.

PAUL MULLIN – 5.5

Showed his usual gusto and started well but faded the longer the game went on. Booked.

KAIYNE WOOLERY – 5.5

Made some probing runs down the channels and worried the home defence with his pace but could not capitalise when in strong attacking positions. Unlucky to be subbed at half-time.

KELLAN GORDON – 4.5

Not heavily involved in the game and his task became harder Town went more direct late on. Subbed.

Substitutes:

LUKE NORRIS – 5

(For Woolery, HT) Hassled defenders early after his introduction but wasted a good chance.

HARRY SMITH – 4.5

(For Gordon, 64) Brought on to add a physical presence up top but was ineffective.

JAMES BROPHY – 4.5

(For Goddard, 82) No time to make an impact on the game.

Subs not used: Reice Charles-Cook, Chris Robertson, Kyle Knoyle, Ellis Iandolo.
