Adver Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players in today’s 3-0 win at home to Accrington Stanley in League Two.
STUART MOORE – 8.5
Had to make several key saves to ensure Town maintained momentum throughout the game. And a third clean sheet in a Town shirt.
KYLE KNOYLE – 7
Was part of a largely solid back four that recorded Town’s second clean sheet in a week.
ROLLIN MENAYESE – 7
Made a sloppy mistake in the first half that could’ve led to an Accrington goal but largely did his job. Improved passing compared to last week. Subbed.
RYAN MCGIVERN - 7
A series of strong headers helped divert many of Accrington’s dangerous balls in from both flanks. Pushed forward for set pieces too.
MATT TAYLOR – 6.5
Some stray first half passing, not at his best but proved a leader on the pitch as ever.
PAUL MULLIN – 7.5
Not afraid to shoot on sight. Crosses were generally well placed but not met by bodies in the middle.
AMINE LINGANZI – 6.5
Quiet game. Defended well though and played a part in Accrington struggling for many clear cut chances.
JAMES DUNNE – 5.5
Poor first half bar his assist in the first half but performed with much more intent in the second 45. Poor discipline led to a red card after a scrap with Jimmy Dunne.
JORDAN EDWARDS – 6.5
A quiet debut for the academy product but by no means did he disgrace himself. Got stuck in and received a standing ovation when subbed.
KESHI ANDERSON – 7.5
Had to be clinical to double Town’s lead at the end of the first half. Strong commitment in the second half.
MARC RICHARDS - 8
Showed his experience to lead up front. Did very little wrong and was rewarded with a deserved goal.
Substitutes:
ELLIS IANDOLO – 6
(For Menayese, 64) Came on but was quickly substituted after picking up an injury.
JOE ROMANSKI – 7
(For Iandolo, 72) Proved he’s pushing for a regular first team spot by winning headers and seeing out Accrington’s late threat.
TIMI ELSNIK – 6.5
(For Jordan Edwards, 82) Not too much to shout about in the concluding 10 minutes.
