SAM Jones' overtime strike confirmed Swindon Wildcats' second four-point weekend on the bounce after Aaron Nell's side downed table topping Bracknell on away from home.

After defeating London Raiders 6-0 on home ice just 24 hours earlier, Wildcats travelled east in search of more league points to add to their near faultless start to the 2018/19 campaign.

Wildcats had to earn victory tonight the hard way, though.

Nell's troops came from behind twice to level the game after skipper Jan Kostal and influential forward Sam Bullas found the net.

Bracknell then went behind for the first time when Edgar Bebris hit Wildcats’ third before Bees' Josh Smith tied the game in the third period, forcing overtime.

Fortunately for the Wildcats, Sam Jones scored three minutes into overtime to secure another two points.

Wildcats return to action next Saturday night when hosting Streatham at the Link Centre (6.15pm) before the reverse fixture takes place on the Sunday.
