Six of the league’s sides earned progress in the Swindon Sunday Cup, with Division Three side Gustoso the most impressive winners as they triumphed 10-5 away at Chippenham Sunday League side Audley.

There were three all-Swindon ties, with Openwork United seeing off Chiseldon Sunday 6-2 on the road, Penhill United downing Royal Wootton Bassett Town Sunday 5-2 at home and Purton Redhouse earning a 4-2 win over visitors Atletico Marlborough.

Croft Junior and AFC Mannington each earned victory away at Chippenham-based opposition.

Mannington edged out Semington 3-2, while Croft were 2-0 winners over Pheasant Inn.

Highworth Town Sunday and SWR both exited the competition at the hands of sides from Chippenham.

SWR were thumped 6-0 at home by Lion & Fiddle, while Highworth pushed New Inn Wacker all the way before losing 2-1.
