Swindon Advertiser:

ONE TO WATCH: Adriano Moke

WHILE Swindon Town can boast a fairly respectable defensive record, York City’s Adriano Moke could be a nuisance for Phil Brown’s outfit this weekend.

Moke proved himself to be a standout player in York’s midweek cup triumph over Northallerton in the North Riding County FA Senior Cup.

The Portuguese midfielder has plenty of non-league experience following his graduation from the Glenn Hoddle Academy.

Spells at York, Cambridge United, Tamworth United, Macclesfield Town, Wrexham and Boreham Wood made up the opening five years of his career before he returned to Yorkshire to play for the club that offered him his first professional contract.

Moke can be expected to cause Town’s two centre halves issues.

KEY BATTLE: Scott Twine v Tom Allan

PRESUMING he is handed a start, young Swindon Town striker Scott Twine will be keen to register his first goal as a senior professional against a club playing at a level he is more than familiar with.

Twine, 19, spent large parts of last season on loan at Chippenham Town under Bluebirds boss Mark Collier.

Since his recall in March, Twine has been presented with a series of opportunities to open his Town account in a handful of games.

Now facing tier six opposition again, it will be interesting to see how Twine tackles one of York City’s likely defenders in Tom Allan.

With more than 100 non-league appearances to his name, Allan could prove a tricky match for Twine.
