Their B team have qualified for Friday’s second round in the Mason Trophy – O60 double rinks competition – following a first-round victory over Clevedon a fortnight ago.

The other Mason Trophy side went out in round one losing 44-24 against Nailsea B two weeks ago, and the Vivienne Trophy side – four rinks of triples – lost heavily last week 90-53 against Dorchester.

The men’s and mixed sides had already been eliminated in national team competitions.
