Lawrence Vigouroux – 6
Did not have much to do apart from pick the ball out of the net twice. Not much he could have done about either goal thanks to a huge deflection and a piece of quality.
Kyle Knoyle – 6
Barely noticed the right-back once again. He continues to churn out consistent performances and was not at blame for either goal.
Dion Conroy – 5.5
Looked far more comfortable back in defence after the ill-fated defensive-midfield role. Wellens criticised him for inadvertently setting up the second Lincoln goal.
Luke Woolfenden – 6
Battled with Akinde well and held his own. Hopefully he can build a partnership with Conroy and continue to take the lead at the back.
Matt Taylor – 5
Feels like he’s on the pitch for set pieces now as the ex-Premier League player failed to turn out a spectacular performance yet again.
Keshi Anderson – 7
Looked lively once again and played a big part in Town’s counter-attacking once Lincoln went down to nine. Tested Vickers without any real danger of a goal.
Canice Carroll – 6
Showed good distribution in his midfield berth and was much improved from last week. Put in some threatening crosses once he was moved to full-back in Wellens’ reshuffle.
James Dunne – 6
Mr Consistency anchored the midfield well and held his temper in check when things threatened to boil over. Did his job well for the most part.
Jak McCourt – 6.5
Spread the ball around well and covered every blade of grass. Has a tendency to shoot from range too often without success but nearly won it with the last kick of the game.
Kaiyne Woolery – 6
Made a number of good runs in behind and seemed to be happy enough to carry his strike partners workload. Had one good chance and should have done better.
Marc Richards – 6
Picked up better positions than the last home game and if he continues to do so, he will no doubt end up with a few more goals to his name.
Subs:
Scott Twine – 5.5
Came on to have little effect. Made a nuisance of himself and showed good work ethic.
Ali Koiki – 6
Signs of pace shown down the left wing.
Michael Doughty – 8
Made two significant contributions with the goals and he and Anderson dovetailed well to give Town more attacking impetus.
