REPORTS are linking Swindon Town with a move for Bristol Rovers midfielder Kyle Bennett.
BBC Wiltshire have tweeted this afternoon that Rovers’ midfielder is set to sign for Swindon Town on a loan deal.
The 28-year-old has made 26 competitive appearances for Bristol Rovers this season and scored one goal after joining as a free agent in February last year following a three-year stint at Portsmouth.
Bennett's playing career started as a teenager at Wolverhampton before he moved on in search of minutes to join Bury.
He only lasted at Bury for a season and quickly joined Doncaster on a free in the summer of 2010.
Four seasons followed at Doncaster before loan moves to Crawley and Bradford resulted in him joining Portsmouth at the start of the 2015/16 season.
