Lawrence Vigouroux – 6.5

Wrong-footed for the first goal and made an initial save for the second before being left little chance with the follow up. Good distribtution as ever.

Luke Woolfenden – 6

Quieter game than usual. Certainly seems to be adopting a more forward-thinking role, pushed up on more than one occasion.

Dion Conroy – 5.5

Unlucky to watch his trailing leg benefit United for their first. Could be argued he needed to be more alert for the second. Great passing play though.

Tom Broadbent – 6

Nothing really to fault. Led the back four well. Two goals against record is a little harsh on Town’s skipper.

Kyle Knoyle – 5.5

Victim of United’s success in the first half. Often outnumbered and struggled to restrict crosses from the right. Happened less often in the second.

Canice Carroll – 5.5

Swapped roles after McCourt was substituted. A few wayward passes, but equally tried to get forward when possible. Didn’t take control of the game as Wellens would’ve liked him to.

Jak McCourt – 5

Wayward passing resulted in a first-half substitution. A stark reminder to be on top of his game at all times.

James Dunne – 6.5

Has worked hard this season and looks the reliable midfielder that Town need. Thought posi-tively, execution sometimes not there.

Kyle Bennett – 7

Lively. And delivered a superb free-kick to bring Town level. Not shot-shy, which will be viewed as a plus.

Kaiyne Woolery – 6

Frustrating performance. Got into good areas, but lacked that end product. Pace was hard to deal, made a nuisance of himself.

Theo Robinson – 6

Like Woolery, got into good positions but just had an off day. Few shots, those he got away were often blocked.

SUBSTITUTES:

Keshi Anderson – 6 Came on very early for the struggling McCourt. Proved tricky to handle.

Matt Taylor – 6 Late substitute for Knoyle, little time to make an impression.

Ben House – 6 Physically got stuck in. Restricted to few chances in the game’s closing minutes.
