Swindon Advertiser:

ONE TO WATCH: Alex Revell

STEVENAGE have endured a dip in form in front of goal of late, netting only 10 times in their 11 league fixtures since the turn of the year.

Dino Maamria’s side have collected just two points from the last five games, dropping them down the table, and they have scored the fewest goals this season of the teams currently in the top half.

Three of Stevenage’s 10 goals in 2019 have been scored by Alex Revell, taking his tally to six for the season.

Curiously, that is second in the club’s scoring charts to the eight netted by Ben Kennedy, but he is currently out on loan at League Two rivals Newport County.

KEY BATTLE: Kyle Bennett v Michael Timlin

MICHAEL Timlin is a player who will be well-known to Swindon Town supporters following a lengthy association with the club, starting more than a decade ago.

Midfielder Timlin left Town for Southend in 2011 but has since made a move to Stevenage, heading to Broadhall Way last summer.

The 33-year-old has quickly established himself as an important figure in Dino Maarmia’s side, making 36 appearances since that switch – all but one coming in a starting role.

Kyle Bennett has been the man with licence to roam in Town’s midfield recently, so Timlin will be out to shackle him as best he can.
