Adver Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players in tonight's 2-0 defeat at Stevenage in League Two.

Lawrence Vigouroux - 7

Made a couple of handling errors, but made up for it with a couple of top saves. Would have been disappointed to give the ball away for the second, but he should never have been given the pass in the first place.

Luke Woolfenden - 6

Did not have his best game at full back. In a game such as that, a pacier full-back was needed, so not necessarily his fault tonight.

Dion Conroy - 7

Held his own against an experience striker in Alex Revell. He will learn from nights like that, but was largely unable to put his attributes across.

Tom Broadbent - 6

Looked a little shaky tonight and lost Revell for the first goal, but battled well otherwise. Lost the ball a few times and passing was often hit and hope rather than trying to find a striker.

Matt Taylor - 5.5

I don’t want to go in too hard on Taylor as he was superb last year, but he looked like a fish out of water again.

James Dunne - 6.5

Did not look comfortable with Diagouraga as his partner, but improved in the second half and tried to get Town going again.

Toumani Diagouraga - 5.5

Did very little before getting hooked early in the second half. His size was helpful but did not look match sharp.

Keshi Anderson - 7.5

Tried his best to dig Swindon out of the hole they found themselves in. The most frustrating part will be a lack of a goal.

Kyle Bennett - 6

Tried to dovetail with Anderson in the second half, but looks like a luxury player. Not ideal in Town’s current situation.

Kaiyne Woolery - 6

Say it game after game, he looks dangerous but has no end product too often. Would not be surprised if he doesn’t feature much when Town’s play-off hopes are over.

Theo Robinson - 6

Had very little to feed off but put himself about as well as he could against two big defenders.

Substitutes:

Kyle Knoyle - 6.5

(For Taylor, 59) Was definitely the better option at full-back as he caused Stevenage all sorts of problems bombing on.

Marc Richards - 5.5

(For Woolery, 59) Did very little and spooned a chance that would have been his bread and butter last year.

Canice Carroll - 5.5

(For Diagourage, 59) Is yet to fully understand how to control the game from deep midfield and unnecessarily gave the ball to Vigs for the second goal instead of chipping it back into a dangerous area.

Subs not used: Luke McCormick, Ben House, Danny Rose, Jacob Bancroft.
