LIKELY LINE-UP
ONE TO WATCH: Callum Lang
OLDHAM Athletic’s top goalscorer, Callum Lang will hope to continue his hot streak when lining up against Richie Wellens’ Swindon Town this weekend.
With 14 goals to his name this season, Lang enters tomorrow’s game in good form - having notched four times in his last three appearances for the Lactics.
It’s rare for Pete Wild’s men to lose when Lang is on target - they’ve been on the losing end of a result only three times this season when the Wigan Athletic loanee has got his name on the scoresheet.
Keeping the 20-year-old under control is therefore likely to play a key part in the game’s result.
KEY BATTLE: Keshi Anderson v Peter Clarke
RICHIE Wellens’ comments post-match against Newport County on Tuesday underline how much faith the Swindon Town manager has in Keshi Anderson’s ability.
Following a poor reaction to being substituted against Yeovil Town last weekend, the former Crystal Palace man bounced back by delivering a standout performance at Newport.
A performance similar to his efforts in south Wales go a long way in greater Manchester this weekend, and experienced Oldham Athletic defender Peter Clarke is likely to come under fire.
Quick movement and changes in direction of play have been called for by Town boss Wellens - whether that will be applied remains to be seen.
