ONE TO WATCH: MICHAEL DOYLE

IT’S a case of role reversal for Notts County’s Michael Doyle this season. This time last year, he was preparing to knock County out of the League Two play-offs when playing for Coventry. Now he’s attempting to save the oldest Football League club from relegation when facing Richie Wellens’ Swindon tomorrow. The Dublin-born 37-year-old joined the Magpies in January from Coventry, and success at this level is far from short - after he won promotion with Portsmouth in 2017 before guiding the Sky Blues back into League One last year. A solid midfielder, Doyle has the ability to press forward - and on his day can be a match winner.

KEY BATTLE: DION CONROY V KANE HEMMINGS

RICHIE Wellens has made it clear that players who will not be a part of Swindon Town’s squad next season will not be in his squad for tomorrow’s game. Therefore, it will first of all be interesting to see if Conroy starts - given he is yet to agree terms with Town chairman Lee Power, despite being offered a contract. County’s top goalscorer Kane Hemmings will sense a vulnerable back four either way - and more goals will certainly be on his mind Hemmings has scored 10 goals in County’s last 21 games - one more could save the Magpies from what would be a historic relegation escape.
