Adver Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players in their 3-1 final-day victory over Notts County.

Luke McCormick: 6

Seemed to be intent on punching the ball today in fairly windy conditions. Had no real saves to make and had no chance with the penalty. Solid.

Kyle Knoyle: 7

Put in another good performance this afternoon and bombed on down the right to put in some dangerous crosses. Something he and the manager is keen to see him improve on. Will be huge if he signs a new deal.

Tom Broadbent: 5.5

Looked quite rusty throughout, passing was poor early on, but popped up with a assist late on for Robinson’s second. Good player, just not a good day.

Dion Conroy: 6.5

Solid as a rock today and another one who could be a vital cog in the potential promotion machine. Has really come into his own since Sid Nelson left.

Ali Koiki: 6

Tried to match Knoyle for attacking threat, but had a better first half than second. Rarely a problem defensively, although sometimes gets caught ball-watching.

Canice Carroll: 6.5

Produced one more energetic performance before he returns to Brentford. His passing and positioning have certainly improved in his time here and that was evident today. Subbed.

Michael Doughty: 6.5

Sometimes tries to overcomplicate things in midfield when we all know he has the quality to make things happen. New deal is supposedly incoming, so new season will hopefully produce more experienced Doughty. Subbed.

Kyle Bennett: 6.5

Not his best game today, but then again, that shows how well he has played of late. Could be a real coup if he re-signs next season. He is keen. So is Wellens.

Kaiyne Woolery: 7.5

Was deservedly awarded MOTM in my opinion as he produced a more aggressive and dynamic display. His goal is one he should score more often though and hopefully he’ll be able to do that a bit more next term. Subbed.

Keshi Anderson: 7

Anderson showed all the good parts of his game today and looked confident and relaxed on the ball. He consistently took players on, but has not been consistent enough this season. Improvement needed next season.

Theo Robinson: 7

The striker was having a pretty poor game before he grabbed his two goals. But that showed the experience he is. Put himself in the right positions and the goals came.

SUBS:

Cameron McGilp: 6.5

Put himself about really well and showed the kind of physicality that Wellens brought him to the club for. Looks a handy option to have available.

Taylor Curran: n/a

Was on for less than two minutes. Another exciting prospect though.

Matt Taylor: 10

Not for today (evidently) but for a lengthy career that gave numerous people some very happy memories. Always handled himself with class and treated everyone with respect. He retires at Swindon with some fantastic goals and I look forward to seeing him succeed in whatever he does next.
