WILL HENRY – Release

Richie Wellens has already stated his intention to sign a goalkeeper this summer. And with Archie Matthews looking likely to secure a contract following his graduation from Town’s academy, Henry on paper looks surplus to requirements. Lacked game time this season, even in friendlies.

KYLE KNOYLE – Retain

Unlucky not to scoop Town’s Player of the Year award this season. A player Wellens can rely on to deliver consist and high-level performances. A no brainer to keep on next season.

DION CONROY – Retain

Hit a flat spot after Phil Brown’s sacking in November, but has transformed his game since and been a key part of Town’s solid back four. Long-range passing a particular highlight. Room for improvement.

OLLY LANCASHIRE – Release

Rocked by an almost career-threatening spinal injury last year, and has been plagued by further injuries this season. Some questionable moments in defence, looks to be better options.

CHRIS ROBERTSON – Release

Sent out on loan to Havant and Waterlooville in February. Picked a red card in the last of his two games, didn’t feature for Town all season. Certainly won’t be on Wellens’ books.

JOE ROMANSKI – Retain

Has enjoyed a successful loan spell at Bath City and showed signs of promise and clear area for improvement. Good work ethic and attitude reported in training. One that could benefit from another season.

ELLIS IANDOLO – Release

Has had plenty of time to make his mark at SN1, but struggled to work his way into the first-team since the turn of the year. Picked up a minor injury, but loan additions in January forced him out of Wellens’ top 18.

JAMES DUNNE – Retain

Looked to adapt well to a more attacking midfield role, and was Town’s standout player in a couple of games this season. Bags of Football League experience behind him, could be developed into the impact sub Wellens might need at times next season.

JAK MCCOURT – Release

Larger than life character in the dressing room, but performances haven’t been at the level required to earn promotion into League One. Part of two relegations with Chesterfield prior to linking up with Town. More options available.

MARTIN SMITH – Release

A clear hit with former Town assistant boss Neil McDonald during his time in Limerick. But hasn’t made that impression on Wellens. Short of game time, looks a certainty to leave amid squad cuts.

JORDAN EDWARDS – Release

Just the one start for Town to date, has enjoyed a loan spell at Chippenham. But with big ambitions to get Town back into League One, Edwards looks like he could be another victim of first-team squad cuts.

JORDAN YOUNG – Release

Has been scoring regularly for Highworth Town, four tiers below League Two. More required to excel at the level Wellens would like him to. Lots to prove – another one that appears surplus to requirements.

SOL PRYCE – Retain

Failed loan spell at Dulwich Hamlet prompted his switch to Bath City. Scored twice in dream starting debut for club against Stevenage, but more will be needed if he’s to stay on. That performance in November might just have saved him.

MARC RICHARDS – Release

Was set to sign for Port Vale in January before logistical challenges meant the deal fell through. Is a proven goalscorer, but notched just five this term. Time to move on you feel.
