FORMER Oldham Athletic full back Rob Hunt has been confirmed as Swindon Town’s fifth summer signing, joining on a two-year deal.

Hunt, 23, made 43 appearances for Athletic last season – though didn’t feature for Laurent Banide’s men when Town’s visited Boundary Park in April.

The former Brighton & Hove Albion man proved himself to be a clear hit with Town boss Richie Wellens when the 39-year-old was in charge of the then League One outfit just over a year ago.

Hunt played 37 times for the Latics during their 2017-18 campaign, which ended in relegation from League One amid off-field issues.
