SWINDON Sprockets will contest the second leg of their challenge series against Kent Kings at Central Park Stadium in Sittingbourne this evening (6.30pm).
Dale Curson’s Sprockets edged out the Kings by a point at the Abbey Stadium last Sunday, and can secure an aggregate victory by either drawing or earning victory tonight.
One change has been made to the Sprockets line-up, with David Wallinger ruled out through injury. At the time of the Adver going to print, it was still undecided if a guest would be booked or rider replacement operated in Wallinger’s absence.
Curson said: “I was looking at how many of the riders have raced there this year so far.
“Obviously the Thompson twins did well for us at Swindon, and they hadn’t raced on that track before then.
“They were due to race at Kent for Leicester, but that meeting got postponed so they are yet to race on that track either.
“It’s a shame we can’t keep the full seven together, but it will be a last-minute decision if we choose to use a guest.”
