Pitch complications force Town's Birmingham City friendly to be moved behind closed doors
COMPLICATIONS with the irrigation system at the County Ground have forced Swindon Town to move their pre-season fixture with Birmingham City to behind closed doors.
Richie Wellens’ side will now face Birmingham at the Blues’ Redhill training ground.
Town groundsman Marcus Cassidy made the call to ensure no detriment to the pitch later on in the season.
