A TENTATIVE enquiry from a club interested in purchasing Toumani Diagouraga from Swindon Town has failed to develop.
Town boss Richie Wellens confirmed to the Adver that Diagouraga was the subject of interest from an unnamed team two weeks ago – but talks have since stalled.
No offer has been received for Jermaine McGlashan either – the other player that Wellens has publicly stated he wants out of the club to free up money to invest in a proven goalscorer.
“We’ve not had one offer for any of them this week,” said Wellens.
“There was a tentative enquiry for Toumani (Diagouraga) two or three weeks ago, but that’s not really developed.
“We need to try and release those wages to get some more players in.”
