ONE TO WATCH – Charlie Brown

Names won’t be familiar to supporters this evening.

But, if started, Charlie Brown is one player fans should certainly make a note of.

Brown, 19, signed for Chelsea from Ipswich as a 16-year-old and will remain a part of the Blues until the summer of 2021 after penning a fresh contract with the club last season.

In Chelsea U21s’ Checkatrade Trophy campaign last term, Brown notched four goals - including two against Town - as Joe Edwards’ side reached the competition’s last 16.

A top scorer in the UEFA Youth League last season, Brown certainly has the talent to cause Richie Wellens’ defence issues.

KEY BATTLE – Scott Twine vs Jamie Cumming

SCOTT Twine is likely to be handed minutes after being kept on the bench by Town boss Richie Wellens during Saturday’s two-goal win at Scunthorpe.

The energetic teenager has a point to prove to some Town fans, with a proportion stating their belief on social media that the Swindon lad isn’t yet ready for first-team football.

Tonight - against a youthful Chelsea team - therefore presents the 20-year-old with an ideal opportunity to prove his doubters wrong.

His opponent could be Chelsea ‘keeper Jamie Cumming, who last year penned a four-year deal with the club and has cemented his spot as Frank Lampard’s third-choice stopper. A big test for Twine if Cumming is started.
