Luke McCormick – 7

Strong save in the first half to keep the game level. Can’t be blamed for the goal, hugged his nearpost well before a smart finish. Distribution okay in tough conditions.

Zeki Fryers – 7

Passes were sloppy in the early moments of the game, but a fantastic header to open his Town account and put his side in the game’s driving seat.

Mathieu Baudry – 5.5

Caught out by McKirdy’s pace on the wing for Carlisle’s opener, and another lapse in concentration when losing Sagaf for the second. Will have better games.

Lloyd Isgrove – 8

Excellent play to fool his marker and generate the space needed to set-up Town’s opener. Had pace, energy and desire. Another top performance.

Jerry Yates – 7.5

Fluffed his lines with a couple of early chances. But his relentless work paid off with a never-say-die goal after being tripped in the six-yard box.

Michael Doughty – 6.5

Unlucky not to score early when hitting the post. Sloppy challenge earned him a yellow. Passes at times were off the mark, settled in the second to make up for that.

Kaiyne Woolery – 6.5

Movement in possession slowed the game during the first half. Runs were few and far between. Marked improvement in second half, rewarded with a goal – should’ve scored another.

Jordan Lyden – 8.5

Deserved to be man of the match. Intelligent passing under pressure, acted as excellent cover for Rob Hunt when Town were light defensively. Could be a key player.

Rob Hunt – 6

Some wayward passing to start, and should’ve done better in United’s goal.

Dion Conroy – 6.5

Passes were mixed when attempting to stir things up after United’s goal. Was dragged out of position at times. But a calming figure who built play up well.

Keshi Anderson – 6.5

Blundered his chance to put Town a goal up in the first half. Plenty of movement and energy – rewarded with an assist, but lacked a goal.
