SWINDON-BASED driver Jamie Orton helped his JTR outfit remain at the top of the team standings in the Porsche Carrera Cup at Thruxton at the weekend, writes TIM CRISP.
Rounds nine and 10 took place at the Hampshire circuit at the weekend as part of the latest instalment of the the British Touring Car Championship.
The efforts of Orton and team-mate Dan Harper ensured JTR remain at the top of the team championship.
Orton finished sixth and then 13th from the two contests to collect six points, while Belfast’s Harper took victory on each occasion to continue his stranglehold on the drivers’ championship.
The next round of the championship takes place at Silverstone on weekend of August 30 to September 1.
