Swindon Advertiser:

ONE TO WATCH: Lewis Alessandra

LEWIS Alessandra has hit the ground running for Morecambe this season and has netted three goals in seven games.

The 30-year-old was actually only named amongst the substitutes for the Shrimps’ most recent League Two fixture at Exeter City last weekend.

However, he proved he should have been in the team from the start as he came off the bench to score both of Morecambe’s goals in a 3-2 defeat.

Alessandra is a newcomer to Jim Bentley’s squad for this season, having spent the two previous years at Notts County.

Although the Magpies suffered relegation last term, Morecambe were quick to offer Alessandra the chance to stay in the EFL.

KEY BATTLE: Rob Hunt v Adam Buxton

WITH Zeki Fryers likely to remain on the injury list for Swindon Town this weekend, Rob Hunt could well be asked to shift flanks again and play at left-back against Morecambe.

Hunt occupied that role against Cheltenham Town last time out and proved a more than capable in the role, with his versatility one of the reasons manager Richie Wellens brought him to the club this summer.

Morecambe have played a three-man defence this season, so their width is likley to come from wing-backs.

Adam Buxton has been the man on the right for the Shrimps this term, starting all five League Two fixtures since signing back in July.
