The sixth and final round of the UK’s biggest motocross series is heading to Swindon this weekend.

The grand finale in the Michelin MX Nationals series will take place at the revamped Foxhill Motocross Track, with 30 races being held across Saturday and Sunday.

The MX Nationals is a superb all-action spectator sport for the whole family and features both male and female riders.

Racers as young as 10 will be taking to the track, right up to the professional riders.

There is also strong local interest, particularly in the form of Hampshire-based rider Mitch Young.

“I live close to Foxhill and always love riding there as it’s a great track with loads of hills and jumps,” said 25-year-old Young.

“The MX Nationals is a great series and I’m really looking forward to race day.”

The racing schedule starts from 9am both days, with the first Pro Race beginning at 12noon on Sunday.

Weekend tickets are priced at £12 when bought in advance from www.mxnationals.co.uk or £15 on the gate. Children aged 12 and under go free.

Camping is available from Friday onwards for only £10. On-site facilities are provided as well as refreshments and trade stands.
