LIKELY LINE-UP
ONE TO WATCH: Ben Stephens
GIVEN Swindon Town’s current free-scoring ability, midfielder Ben Stephens might be asked to play a more defensive role for Macclesfield Town tomorrow.
Equally, he could be the player Daryl McMahon turns to when it comes to catching Swindon’s full-backs out on the counter.
A product of Leicester City’s acadmey, Stephens has been a shining light for the Silkmen this term as they sit comfortably clear of the relegation zone.
With only one team facing the drop this year, it’s likely 22-year-old’s freedom up front could hurt teams.
KEY BATTLE: Eoin Doyle v Owen Evans
LET’S not beat around the bush, Macclesfield Town would certainly take a point from their trip to Swindon Town if they were to be offered it.
The ruthless Eoin Doyle will be keen to add to his already impressive goal tally in red, and can do so against a Macclesfield side that has conceded less than a goal per game on average so far this term.
Owen Evans has been outstanding in goal for the Silkmen and it’s little wonder boss Daryl McMahon has turned down the opportunity to rotate his stoppers. Doyle simply has to be at his usual best to notch another.
