ONE TO WATCH: Callum McFadzean
CALLUM McFadzean was one of a number of former Bury players to follow manager Ryan Lowe to Plymouth Argyle when he departed Gigg Lane over the summer.
The midfielder made an instant impression for the Pilgrims, netting twice on his debut in a 3-0 win away at Crewe Alexandra on the opening day of the season.
McFadzean then made it three goals in as many games during Argyle’s Carabao Cup first-round success over Leyton Orient 10 days later.
Although the goals have dried up for the 25-year-old since then, McFadzean has been an ever-present on Lowe’s team sheet in League Two this term.
KEY BATTLE: Gabriel Zakuani v Joel Grant
PLYMOUTH Argyle striker Joel Grant proved a handful for the Swindon Town defence on Tuesday night, netting once and looking lively all evening as the Pilgrims claimed a 3-0 success in the EFL Trophy.
The midweek match marked a miserable night for Swindon at the Energy Check County Ground, and they will be desperate to avoid a similar fate when the two teams meet again at SN1 on Saturday.
Although changes are expected on both sides, Grant is likely to keep his place at the head of the Plymouth attack, meaning new Town defensive recruit Gabriel Zakuanki will have to keep a close eye on him to avoid the Argyle forward causing havoc once again.
