Luke McCormick – 7.5

Blame cannot be pinned on McCormick for the goal. No doubt picked up a confidence boost. Some great saves and catches were strong too in tricky conditions

Tyler Reid – 5.5

First touch wasn’t particularly great, and the occasional passing blunder occurred as a result. Saying that, did push forward at times. Partly at fault for goal.

Taylor Curran – 6

A steady if unspectacular performance in the heart of Town’s five-man defensive line. A player that has plenty of development in him, though.

Gabriel Zakuani – 6.5

Heading was a strong point for Zakuani on his return. Got to crosses well, which no doubt restricted Rovers to just the one goal.

Tom Broadbent – 6

Moments that will serve as a confidence boost, particularly after playing little this term. Still has elements to improve on, but a fair display.

Rob Hunt – N/R

Went down several times clutching his hamstring before he eventually departed play with little more than a quarter-of-an-hour played.

Danny Rose – N/R

Forced off the field with only minutes played after picking up a minor knock when lunging for a 50-50 challenge.

Sidy Sanokho – 6

Showed an eye-catching turn of foot, but was understandably lacked a little in competitive situations and we maybe didn’t see the best of him because of that.

Toumani Diagouraga – 5.5

Rarely gave possession away, but passes were often backwards – playmaking moves certainly lacked. Understandably green having played only once before this term.

Scott Twine – 5.5

Was lacking physicality up front, and never looked like posing a threat on the hosts’ goal. In saying that, a number of smart through balls. But plenty to learn still.

Harry Parsons – 6

Town debut. Didn’t threat too much in front of goal but a strong learning curve, particularly for the first-year scholar.
