ONE TO WATCH: Craig Conway
Described by Richie Wellens as a player that should be playing higher than League Two, Craig Conway has the potential to disrupt Swindon Town’s fourth tier form come tomorrow.
The 34-year-old opted to leave former club Blackburn Rovers during the summer after admitting he had found a ‘comfort zone’ under Tony Mowbray.
His short-term contract at Salford runs out in January.
But in a recent interview with the Sunday Post, Conway underlined his delight with how his game is progressing at Salford.
Luke Armstrong and Adam Rooney without doubt will pose Wellens’ back four a stiff task in Manchester.
But Conway’s playmaking moves could prove the difference between a successful afternoon or a poor one for the League Two newbies.
