SPEEDWAY: Doyle signs for Ekstraliga side Częstochowa
SWINDON Robins captain Jason Doyle has signed for Polish Ekstraliga team Częstochowa for the 2020 season.
Doyle – who is currently in Australia recovering from surgery on a torn bicep – will join fellow Grand Prix stars Leon Madsen and Fredrik Lindgren at last season’s bronze medallists after the former world champion’s old team Torun was relegated to the second tier.
Częstochowa announced the signing of Doyle on Polish speedway’s version of transfer deadline day and experts in Poland are considering the Swindon skipper’s new team to be one of the favourites for the title.
