SWINDON Wildcats will look to put their indifferent run of form behind this evening when hosting Bracknell Bees at the Link Centre in the National League.
Just one National League point has been secured by Aaron Nell’s roster from their last eight available – that point came courtesy of a penalty shots loss to Basingstoke Bison on Boxing Day.
Bracknell have also struggled of late, earning just two points from their last four fixtures – both of those points were ironically secured against Swindon on Sunday.
Consequently, both teams have temporarily lost sight on their targets.
Wildcats now trail National League leaders Telford by eight points, though have a game in hand, while Bracknell have crashed to eighth in the table with seven wins secured in 26 fixtures.
Player-coach Nell insists his players are starting to turn a corner despite Thursday night’s defeat.
Tonight’s fixture at the Link Centre therefore provides Cats with a perfect opportunity to prove that. Face-off is at 6.15pm.
