MAN TO WATCH: Charlie Kirk.
CHARLIE Kirk has divided Crewe fans’ opinion this season.
Described as a confidence player by the local press, the 22-year-old academy graduate has delivered a number of outstanding performances for David Artell’s XI this term.
But he has been equally capable of flopping, and many visiting fans this weekend are of the opinion that the Railwaymen are more than capable of winning promotion should Kirk play his best game week in, week out.
Kirk is in a bit a bit of a goalscoring drought at the moment, he hasn’t found the back of the net since tomorrow’s visitors thumped Morecambe 5-0 in November.
Regardless, Wellens must treat the talented winger with respect. And a depleted Town defence could quite easily be targeted by our man to watch.
