SWINDON Town are reportedly interested in signing Sunderland striker Will Grigg.

The Sun journalist Alan Nixon tweeted the Northern Ireland striker is attracting interest from both Town and Salford City.

Any deal would likely be in the form of a loan though as the 29-year-old's contract at the Stadium of Light does not expire until 2022.

Salford have already signed one striker today though after landing the signature of Bruno Andrade from Lincoln City on a two-and-a-half year deal.

Grigg, who shot to prominence during a goal-laden spell at EURO 2016, has only managed three goals in 26 appearances for the Black Cats this term.
