POSTPONED: Mansfield Town v Swindon Town off due to waterlogged pitch
SWINDON Town's scheduled trip to Mansfield Town this afternoon has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
With heavy rain beating down on the Nottinghamshire area all week, an early pitch inspection was carried out on Saturday morning to determine whether the surface may stand up to further downpours.
The match officials decided that with more rain forecast this would not be the case, and Swindon will now have to fit in a fourth midweek game before the end of the season.
